This page enables you to review the details of a connection and delete the connection.

Connection Name

This read-only field displays the name of the connection to be deleted. This name is displayed on the Connections page, and is used to identify the login details stored in the connection.

Connection Description

This read-only field displays additional information about the connection to be deleted. This information is displayed on the Connections page, and helps users choose a connection.

Locale

This read-only field displays the language used when opening this connection.

Database User Name

This read-only field displays the username used in the connection to be deleted. For example, pchan.

Responsibilities

This read-only field displays the Oracle Applications responsibility that you used to log in to Discoverer (e.g. UK_Purchasing).

This field might also display the Oracle Applications security group that you used to log in to Discoverer (e.g. UK_Managers).

The Oracle Applications responsibility and Security Group values are displayed in the following format:

<responsibility>:<security_group>

Note: This field is only displayed if the user is an Oracle Applications user.

Database

Use this field to enter the database name. For example, mycompanydatabase or <host>:<port>:<sid> for OLAP connections.

Connection Type

This read-only field displays the type of data source used with this connection (e.g. Relational, OLAP).

End User Layer

This read-only field displays the name of the EUL used with this connection.

Note: This field does not apply to Discoverer OLAP connections.
